Sun Weidong, President of Sunduct Industrial Development Co., Ltd.: Creating "new air for air conditioning" in Shenzhen
Shenzhen Sunduct Industrial Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sunduct") was established in 2002 and began to promote P3 ducts. After years of accumulation, the company has a good technical accumulation and market resources, and has grown into a leading provider of composite duct system solutions in China.
Sun Weidong, born in 1968, grew up in Harbin.In 1987, he entered Shenzhen University and began a new chapter in his life.After graduating from university, Sun Weidong's first job was as a cashier at the Jingdu Hotel. Later, by chance, he switched to a mechanical and electrical company.Shortly afterwards, the manufacturer of Qingdao Beer placed a large order with the mechanical and electrical company where Sun Weidong worked, but specifically requested that the air conditioning ventilation pipes supplied must be P3 duct materials.At that time, there was no specialized industry for air conditioning ventilation in China, and P3 duct was a term that no one had ever heard of.The company's leaders could only send Sun Weidong to Hong Kong to research and introduce this novel material.
This was Sun Weidong's first contact with P3 duct products.In 1999, at the first Shenzhen High-tech Fair, Sun Weidong's electromechanical company rented two small booths of only 20 feet under her leadership and began to officially promote the Italian P3 duct system.Afterwards, Sun Weidong gave up her years of financial work and switched to a new field, and Sunduct was born.
During the entrepreneurial period, Sun Weidong participated in the revision of the national building fire prevention code, improving the application level of products across the industry, enabling the Italian P3 duct system to be applied in hundreds of projects in China, and leading the company to develop air conditioning and ventilation from the end field of central air conditioning into a new industry.
